Chivvis & Lovell
Chivvis and Lovell Studios is the art and framing business of husband and wife, Jack Chivvis and Linda Lovell. After 30 years of operating a gallery and frame shop in the historic business district of Salida, Colorado, Jack and Linda have moved their studios just a stroll from downtown, on the other side of the Arkansas River. The new location and new studios provide perfect spaces for creating and working, yet they are still very conveniently located for visitors stopping by in person.
Jack works with various paints, found objects, wood and metal mostly making wall art . Linda is a certified picture framer with more than 35 years of experience and uses only the highest quality materials and techniques. She emphasizes a high degree of personal service and attention to detail and color. She also works in fiber arts and beadwork.

Salida Art Walk - 22nd year of celebrating the arts - June 27th, 28th, and 29th
The Salida Art Walk is one of Salida's premier annual events. It is a celebration of the arts. Nationally know artists, sculptors, jewelers and crafts people display and sell their works at stores and galleries throughout the historic downtown.
